• Biofilms, implant associated infections and concepts for their prevention
• Cell-material-interactions, biocompatibility
• Implants for tissue transitions
• Clinical applications, translation
The workshop will cover the development of an implant for a tendon-bone transition as an example of a highly functional implant. Different aspects of implant development from various disciplines will be addressed. The aim of the workshop is to illustrate the necessity of a multidisciplinary approach in biomaterial development. The Workshop will combine lectures and laboratory experience.
The workshop is made for younger scientists from all disciplines. The number of participants will be limited and registration is compulsory.
